So here's my new idea. When Mel's down for a nap and it's not a preschool day, I'm going to have game time with Maya. Today was candy land. It went well and I think she appreciated sitting on the floor with mom, pillows, a treat and a game. Of course, it's always better when she wins, right? I didn't even cheat. She won fair and square.
So far Maya and I have gotten along today. Keep your fingers crossed!

That sounds like a great 'space' for Maya and Mom. I think all kids really need that sort of special time just for them. Yay for you, Mom!
Sounds like a fab idea. Maybe I will try that with Lulu when Avery goes to school next week. May be just what she needs!
great idea. i try to do that with my maya during mason's nap, but lately that time has been computer time. and not even blog time. crazy callings time. there's been a lot lately.
Sounds like a fun thing for Maya and you. Dax loves when I play games with him. It is always hard finding the time to sit down and play with him. Who's Maya's teacher for preschool? Dax has Ms. Cori.
